Tufail Hoshiarpuri: The Melodious Ghazals and Naat Reciter

Tufail Hoshiarpuri: The Melodious Ghazals and Naat Reciterسوانحِ حیات طفیل ہوشیارپوری میں نے طفیل ہوشیارپوری کو پی ٹی وی کے سالانہ مشاعروں کے ذریعے پہچانا۔ وہ اپنا کلام ہمیشہ ترنم میں پڑھا کرتے تھے، اور اسی اندازِ ادائیگی نے انہیں میرے اُن پسندیدہ شعرا میں شامل کر دیا جنہیں میں کم عمری ہی سے پسند کرتا آیا ہوں۔ پی ٹی وی پر یا تو رمضان شریف کے موقع پر نعتیہ مشاعرہ نشر ہوتا تھا یا پھر سالانہ مشاعرہ رات گئے دکھایا جاتا تھا۔ چونکہ مجھے شعر و ادب سے بچپن ہی سے گہرا لگاؤ رہا ہے، اس لیے شاذ و نادر ہی ایسا ہوتا تھا کہ میں ان مشاعروں کو دیکھنے سے محروم رہ جاؤں۔ ان کے آخری دور کے ایک پنجابی مشاعرے میں، انہوں نے پنجابی زبان میں ایک نعت ترنم کے ساتھ پیش کی، جس کا پہلا شعر آج بھی میری یادداشت میں محفوظ ہے۔ہ پنجابی شعر یوں ہے جس کی جھولی کبھی خالی نہیں رہتی جو میرے محمد ﷺ کا سوالی ہے ان کی آواز نہایت خوبصورت تھی، اور وہ بڑی دلکشی کے ساتھ کلام پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ ان کا کچھ کلام آج بھی ان ہی کی آواز میں انٹرنیٹ پر دستیاب ہے۔ انہی میں ان کی ایک غزل خاص طور پر قابلِ ذکر ہے۔ اس غزل کا مطلع نہایت عمد...

I wrote this poem against the worldwide proliferation of nuclear weapons. The purpose is clear: to prevent nuclear wars and to make the world peaceful and fit for human life. Through this poem, I want to say that the dangers of such wars are still in their early stages, and even now all human beings can unite to stop these threats.

But if, driven by madness, such wars begin even once, it will be impossible to stop them, and along with humanity, human beings themselves will be reduced to ashes.

Now let us see how many of you will join your voices with mine and become part of the struggle to save humanity.

poem Tees "Invisible pain" refers to the experience of discomfort, distress, or suffering that is not immediately apparent or visible to others. Unlike physical injuries or external wounds, this type of pain is often internal, emotional, or psychological in nature. Individuals experiencing invisible pain may be grappling with conditions such as chronic illnesses, mental health disorders, or psychosomatic symptoms that manifest without obvious external signs. This term highlights the subjective and often hidden nature of certain types of distress that individuals endure. Despite the absence of visible indicators, invisible pain can be just as debilitating and impactful on a person's well-being. Understanding and acknowledging invisible pain is crucial for fostering empathy, support, and appropriate interventions for those dealing with conditions that may not be readily apparent to the outside world. Invisible pain is a profound and often misunderstood aspect of the hu...
