Gloomy weather often evokes a sense of melancholy and introspection. The overcast skies and persistent drizzle create an atmosphere that can feel heavy and somber. Unlike sunny days that inspire activity and cheerfulness, gloomy weather tends to slow everything down, encouraging people to stay indoors and seek comfort in solitude or quiet activities. The muted colors and subdued light can make the world seem less vibrant, affecting both the environment and people's moods.

For many, gloomy weather can trigger feelings of sadness or nostalgia. The lack of sunlight can impact serotonin levels in the brain, leading to feelings of lethargy or mild depression. This is particularly evident in places that experience long periods of overcast skies, such as during winter months in higher latitudes. The continuous grey skies can make it difficult to find motivation and maintain a positive outlook. However, this weather also provides an opportunity for reflection and introspection, allowing individuals to slow down and contemplate their thoughts and emotions.

Despite its reputation for inducing sadness, gloomy weather also has a unique charm and beauty. The sound of rain tapping against windows, the sight of mist rolling over landscapes, and the earthy scent after a fresh rainfall can be incredibly soothing and calming. For some, it provides the perfect backdrop for reading a book, enjoying a warm drink, or engaging in creative pursuits like writing or painting. In this way, gloomy weather can foster a sense of coziness and comfort, encouraging people to find beauty in the stillness and quietude it brings.

Here is the translation of the ghazal into English: In the valleys of tangled breaths, searching for clear paths In the gloomy weather, searching for moments reflected in reflections Do not sit alone, with a face sullied by the food of sorrow In the dense darkness, searching for innocent, blossoming faces What a ruthless era has come, even the gatherings of youth are young In the settlements, searching for innocent children inside homes We do not value it yet, we are still lost in our revelry Searching for beautiful emotions before they become scarce Heartless people have made life a burden on man Staying away from dark minds, searching for people who smile Diving into deep waters, casting out all the pearls In the new era, once again searching for bright possibilities Enduring bitter truths, yet holding the flag of determination We are such unparalleled ones in the world, my friend, searching for us Cries, betrayals, oaths and promises of day and night In the rain of stones, searching for moments of faithful relationships Spent the entire life waiting on the shore of union Believing in separation from eternity, Shakeel, searching for himself
