الجھتے سانسوں کی وادیوں میں شفاف رستے تلاش کرنا
اداس موسم میں عکس در عکس موزوں لمحے تلاش کرنا
غازہ غم سے چہرہ آلودہ کر کے تنہا نہ بیٹھ جانا
گھنے اندھیرے میں بے ضرر سے شگفتہ چہرے تلاش کرنا
یہ کیسا بے رحم دور آیا ،بزم اطفال بھی جواں ہے
بستیوں میں گھروں کے اندر معصوم بچے تلاش کرنا
ابھی ہمیں قدر ہے کہاں ،ابھی ہیں مستی میں مست سارے
ابھی سے کم یاب ہو نہ جائیں حسین جذبے تلاش کرنا
بے مہر لوگوں نے زندگی کو بوجھ کر ڈالا آدمی پر
تیرہ ذہنوں میں سے دور رہ کر لوگ ہنستے تلاش کرنا
غوطہ زن گہرے پانیوں کے تمام گوہر اچھال دینا
نئے زمانے میں روشن امکانات پھر سے تلاش کرنا
تلخ سچائیوں کو سہہ کر بھی پرچم عزم تھامے رکھا
ہم ایسے بے مثل ہیں جہاں میں یار ہم سے تلاش کرنا
دہائیاں ،بےوفائیاں،عہد و پیمان روز و شب کے
بارش سنگ میں کوئی پل وفا کے رشتے تلاش کرنا
تمام عُمر انتظار کرتے گذر گئی ساحل وصل پر
