وعدہ الست کر کے چھوڑ دیا
تو بھی مالک عجیب مالک ہے
اوج کو۔ پست کر کے چھوڑ دیا

Description (Urdu):

یہ قطعہ ایک گہری فلسفیانہ سوچ اور انسانی وجود کے رازوں کو نہایت مختصر مگر پراثر انداز میں بیان کرتا ہے۔ شاعر نے تخلیق کے عمل، وعدۂ الست اور انسان کی تقدیر میں موجود اتار چڑھاؤ کو بڑی مہارت سے شعری قالب میں ڈھالا ہے۔

پہلے مصرعے میں "نیست" سے "ہست" تک کا سفر بیان کیا گیا ہے، جو کائنات اور انسان کی تخلیق کا ایک علامتی اظہار ہے۔ دوسرے مصرعے میں وعدۂ الست کی طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے اس ازلی رشتے کو یاد دلایا گیا ہے جو انسان اور اس کے خالق کے درمیان قائم ہے۔

آخری مصرعہ اس حقیقت کو اجاگر کرتا ہے کہ انسان کی بلندی اور پستی، عروج اور زوال سب اسی مالکِ حقیقی کی مشیت کے تابع ہیں۔ شاعر ایک سوالیہ اور حیرت انگیز لہجے میں اس کائناتی نظام کو دیکھتا ہے، جہاں ہر چیز ایک حکمت کے تحت وقوع پذیر ہوتی ہے۔

یہ قطعہ قاری کو نہ صرف غور و فکر کی دعوت دیتا ہے بلکہ اسے اپنی حقیقت، اپنی ابتدا اور اپنے انجام کے بارے میں سوچنے پر بھی مجبور کرتا ہے

Verse in Roman Urdu:

Nīst ko hast kar ke choṛ diyā
Waʿda alast kar ke choṛ diyā
To bhī mālik ʿajīb mālik hai

Auj ko past kar ke choṛ diyā

Description and Translation:

Nīst ko hast kar ke choṛ diyā

Translation: "He turned non-existence into existence and then left it." Description: This line suggests the act of creation, where something that did not exist (non-existence) was brought into being (existence) by a divine power, and then was left to exist on its own.

Waʿda alast kar ke choṛ diyā

Translation: "He fulfilled the promise of Alast and then left it." Description: Refers to the Islamic concept of the primordial covenant (Waʿda alast) mentioned in the Quran, where God asked souls, "Am I not your Lord?" and they affirmed. It signifies the divine promise and commitment, which was made and then left to be honored by humanity.

To bhī mālik ʿajīb mālik hai

Translation: "Even then, the master is indeed a strange master." Description: This line expresses a sense of wonder or puzzlement about the ways of the divine master, acknowledging that the ways of the divine are mysterious and beyond human understanding.

Description: This line signifies the ability of the divine to bring down the mighty and exalted (heights) to a lower state, indicating the transient nature of worldly power and status, controlled by the divine will.
