Abdul Hameed Adam – Life, Poetry, and Literary Legacy عبد الحمید عدم – حیات، شاعری اور ادبی خدمات عبد الحمید عدم اردو ادب کے ایک منفرد اور باکمال شاعر تھے، جنہوں نے اپنی شاعری کے ذریعے زندگی کے تلخ و شیریں تجربات کو نہایت سادہ مگر اثر انگیز انداز میں بیان کیا۔ ان کا شمار اُن شعراء میں ہوتا ہے جنہوں نے غزل کو ایک نئی فکری جہت عطا کی۔ ابتدائی زندگی عبد الحمید عدم 1910 میں گوجرانوالہ میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ان کا اصل نام عبد الحمید تھا جبکہ "عدم" ان کا تخلص تھا۔ انہوں نے باقاعدہ اعلیٰ تعلیم حاصل نہیں کی، مگر اپنی ذاتی مطالعہ اور مشاہدے کی بنیاد پر علم و ادب میں نمایاں مقام حاصل کیا۔ ادبی سفر عدم کی شاعری کا آغاز نوجوانی میں ہوا، اور جلد ہی وہ اپنی منفرد آواز کے باعث پہچانے جانے لگے۔ ان کی شاعری میں سادگی، بے ساختگی، اور گہری فکر نمایاں ہے۔ وہ روایتی انداز سے ہٹ کر ایک عام انسان کے جذبات اور مسائل کو بیان کرتے تھے۔ شاعری کا انداز عبد الحمید عدم کی غزلوں میں زندگی کی حقیقتیں، محبت، محرومی، اور طنز و مزاح کا خوبصورت امتزاج ملتا ہے۔ ان کے اشعار میں ایک خاص قسم کی بے باکی...

غزل
دامن میرا پابند وفا اب نہیں رہا
شوق طلب میں تیرے فنا اب نہیں رہا

میں جانتا ہوں فصل تمنا ہوئی تمام
سینے میں تھا جو شور بپا اب نہیں رہا

جاؤ در رقیب پہ مژدہ خوشی کا دو
بستی میں تیری آبلہ پا اب نہیں رہا

خوش قسمتی سے داغ رفاقت سے دل بچا
تیرے لیے اک حرفِ دعا اب نہیں رہا

لوگ اب وفا کے وعدوں سے منحرف ہو چکے
پالیں یہ روگ حوصلہ اب نہیں رہا

ان ساعتوں کی یاد بھی مٹ جانی چاہئیے
شائد کوئی بھی زخم ہرا اب نہیں رہا

جا روشنی کو ڈھونڈ جا روشنی کا پوچھ
روشن جہاں میں کوئی دیا اب نہیں رہا

تہمت زدہ شکیل فقیروں کے بھیس میں

خوش بخت شہر اور گدا اب نہیں رہا

Description (Urdu):

یہ غزل انسانی جذبات، ٹوٹے ہوئے وعدوں اور وفا کے زوال کی ایک دردناک عکاسی ہے۔ شاعر نے نہایت سادہ مگر اثر انگیز انداز میں محبت کے اختتام، تمناؤں کی خاموشی اور دل کے ویران ہو جانے کو بیان کیا ہے۔ ہر شعر میں ایک ایسی کیفیت جھلکتی ہے جہاں امید دم توڑ چکی ہے اور انسان حقیقت کو قبول کرنے پر مجبور ہو جاتا ہے۔

اس کلام میں نہ صرف ذاتی کرب بلکہ معاشرتی رویوں کی تبدیلی بھی نمایاں ہے، جہاں وفا ایک نایاب شے بنتی جا رہی ہے۔ آخری اشعار میں شاعر "شکیل" اپنے مخصوص انداز میں دنیا کی بے ثباتی اور انسان کی محرومی کو بیان کرتا ہے۔

یہ غزل ان تمام لوگوں کے لیے ہے جو محبت، جدائی اور وقت کے بدلتے رویوں کو محسوس کرتے ہیں

My hem is no longer bound by loyalty
In the passion of desire, I am no longer perishable
I know the season of longing is over
The tumult in my chest is no longer present
Go, give the news of joy at the rival's door
In your town, there is no more one who treads barefoot
By good fortune, my heart is saved from the scar of companionship
For you, there is no longer a word of prayer
People have now deviated from the promises of fidelity
To endure this ailment, there is no longer any courage
The memories of those moments should also fade
Perhaps no wound is fresh anymore
Go, search for the light, ask for the light
In this bright world, there is no more any lamp
Shakil, tainted with accusations in the guise of beggars
The fortunate city and the beggar are no more

3. News to the Rival:

The poet suggests that someone should go and give the rival the news of happiness because the one who used to suffer and walk barefoot in the lover's town is no longer there.

4. Freedom from Pain:

By good fortune, his heart is now free from the scars of past companionship. There is no longer a prayer or a wish left for the former beloved.

5. Broken Promises:

He observes that people have strayed from the promises of loyalty and fidelity, and the strength to endure the pain of such betrayal has also vanished.

6. Fading Memories:

The memories of those painful moments should also be erased, as no wound remains fresh anymore, indicating healing over time.

The poet urges to seek light and ask for guidance, but laments that in this bright world, no guiding light or lamp remains.
