غغلام ہمدانی مصحفیؔ: ایک تعارف غلام ہمدانی مصحفیؔ کا شمار اردو کے اساتذۂ سخن میں ہوتا ہے۔۔۔ غلام ہمدانی ان کا نام اور مصحفیؔ تخلص تھا۔ اکثر تذکرہ نگارو نے ان کی جائے پیدائش امروہہ لکھی ہے، تاہم مہذب لکھنوی میر حسن کے حوالے سے یہ بات سامنے آتی ہے کہ وہ دہلی کے قریب اکبر پور میں پیدا ہوئے۔ بہرحال ان کا بچپن امروہہ ہی میں بسر ہوا۔ مصحفی 1747 میں پیدا ہوئے۔۔۔ خاندانی پس منظر اور معاشی زوال مصحفیؔ کے آباء و اجداد خوشحال تھے اور حکومت کے اعلیٰ مناصب پر فائز رہے، لیکن سلطنت کے زوال کے ساتھ ہی خاندان کی خوشحالی بھی رخصت ہو گئی۔ نتیجتاً مصحفیؔ کی پوری زندگی معاشی تنگ دستی میں گزری۔ روزگار کی تلاش نے انہیں مسلسل ایک شہر سے دوسرے شہر کی خاک چھاننے پر مجبور کیے رکھا۔ تلاشِ معاش اور ادبی تربیت وہ دہلی آئے جہاں تلاشِ معاش کے ساتھ ساتھ اہلِ علم و فضل کی صحبت سے فیض یاب ہوئے۔ بعد ازاں آنولہ گئے، کچھ عرصہ ٹانڈے میں قیام کیا اور ایک سال لکھنؤ میں رہے۔ اسی دوران ان کی ملاقات سوداؔ سے ہوئی جو اس وقت فرخ آباد سے لکھنؤ منتقل ہو چکے تھے۔ مصحفیؔ، سوداؔ سے بے حد متاثر ہوئے۔ بعد ازاں وہ دوبارہ دہلی ...
