پنجاب حکومت نے حالیہ برسوں میں اپنی پنشن پالیسی میں اہم اصلاحات متعارف کرائی ہیں، جن کا مقصد مالیاتی استحکام کو یقینی بنانا اور پنشن کے عمل کو آسان بنانا ہے

اہم تبدیلیاں

:

1. کنٹریبیوٹری پنشن فنڈ اسکیم کا نفاذ

ستمبر 2024 سے،** وفاقی حکومت نے تمام نئے سول ملازمین کے لیے کنٹریبیوٹری پنشن فنڈ اسکیم کا اعلان کیا۔

اس اسکیم میں حکومت اور ملازم دونوں پنشن فنڈ میں حصہ ڈالیں گے، جس سے روایتی پنشن سسٹم (defined benefit system) کو ایک متعین حصہ داری والے ماڈل (defined contribution model)

میں تبدیل کیا گیا ہے۔

2. پنجاب سول سرونٹس ایکٹ میں ترامیم

پنجاب سول سرونٹس (ترمیمی) بل 2024** کے تحت نئے نظام کو متعارف کرایا گیا، جہاں سرکاری ملازمین اور حکومت دونوں انفرادی پنشن اکاؤنٹس میں حصہ ڈالیں گ

3.سالانہ پنشن انکریمنٹ کا خاتمہ

ستمبر 2024 کے بعد ریٹائر ہونے والے ملازمین** کو سالانہ پنشن میں اضافے کا حق نہیں ہوگا، جو پہلے تین اقسام کی پنشن پر لاگو ہوتا تھا۔

4.پنشن کے عمل کو ڈیجیٹائز کرنا

پنشن کے اجرا اور ماہانہ ادائیگی کے عمل کو کمپیوٹرائزڈ نظام کے ذریعے آسان بنایا گیا ہے، تاکہ ریٹائر ہونے والے افراد کو براہ راست ان کے بینک اکاؤنٹس میں ادائیگی ہو سکے۔

نئے ملازمین کے لیے:

نئے ملازمین کے لیے لازمی ہوگا کہ وہ کنٹریبیوٹری پنشن اسکیم میں حصہ ڈالیں، جہاں حکومت اور ملازم دونوں حصہ ڈالیں گ

سرمایہ کاری پر مبنی فوائد:

پنشن کے فوائد ملازم اور حکومت کے تعاون اور پنشن فنڈ کی سرمایہ کاری کی کارکردگی پر منحصر ہوں گے، جو پچھلے نظام کے مقررہ فوائد سے مختلف ہے۔ موجودہ ملازمین کے لیے:

نئے قواعد کے تحت ریٹائرمنٹ کے فوراً بعد ملازمین کو ان کی پنشن کا 65 فیصد فوری ملے گا، جس سے ان کی ابتدائی مالی ضروریات پوری ہوں گی۔
